The work

Courtesy-fee and leakage review

A line-by-line look at introducer courtesy payments, overrun sharing, and credits that do not match a placed case.

Printed financial statements and a calculator on a desk

Brokerages in the Klang Valley often keep paying a small courtesy on a name because the name used to matter. The accounts clerk has a standing instruction; nobody has re-read the letter. A leakage review lists those standing instructions against actual placements for the same window.

We read commission statements next to the introducer file. Where a payment has no matching bound case, it is marked. Where a case is bound and nobody was paid, that is marked too — leakage runs both ways, and introducers notice. The note is for the principal and, if you wish, for finance. It is not a forensic accounting opinion and it is not a substitute for your tax agent.
